I am a mom to boy, girl, boy, and this is our fourth (and last) baby and we were hoping for a girl! I went to get the clinical sneak peak early gender test. awe my doctor actually recommended it since our insurance wont cover NIPT. While sneak peek can be wrong a lot - thats only with the at home test. Hoping NIPT comes back this Friday so that it can be settled one way or the other. The reason boy can be false is because they look for male dna (so if it gets contaminated thats how it can be false) and if none is found then youre having a girl. So I did sneak peek at 12 weeks a d it came out it was a boy. As long as you did it after 8 weeks it should be right! The answer is at 8 weeks or later in your pregnancy. I dont get my gender scan for another 4 weeks but Ive heard that girl results for this test are pretty accurate. Guess well see. But here's the catchif you contaminate your sample, you could get inaccurate results. It happens, and there is no reason to be so upset with this company just because you happened to fall into a small minority. Ladies, some men have 90% boy to 10% girl or 90% girl to 10% boy and some men might have nearly 0 of the swimmers that you are hoping for. I scrubbed hard, but I feel like there is no way to know if they were possibly clean enough. All babies look the same at 12 weeks which is why they say they cant tell you the gender, theres no distinguishable genitalia that early, the earliest for a guess would be 16 weeks and on.
