I have both chammberings and see no real differece. 223 Wylde is a hybrid chamber designed to let barrels be able to safely shoot both .223 Remington and 5.55mm NATO rounds out of the same barrel without loss of accuracy. Seems to me like getting a new barrel and completely different round was worth it 62 gr and above. That said, if I have the option to get .223 Wylde, I always take it. Reloaders can tailor a load for a specific barrel, Ive done it for years. Also, I should have added to take advantage of heavier bullets a slow twist barrel is ideal.
